I ordered breakfast from Gracie Cafe last Saturday morning and it came 30 minutes past the estimated delivery time. When my order did arrive, it was missing the ice coffee. I called them and was told that it would be a while and they would send it with the delivery guy "when we have another order near you"...I live less than 4 blocks away. I told them that that I would instead like to have my money refunded...and they kept saying that I'd have to wait for the delivery guy. Two hours later, the guy still had not shown (per the woman on the phone, he was "on his way" for over an hour) and I had to leave for an appointment. I never did get my coffee or refund. The food I did get tasted okay, but not worth the headache.

Delivery took 1 hour longer than promised. Food arrived cold and soggy--a complete waste of time and money.

Sketchy place to say the least. A person from the restaurant called me after I placed an order that included an orange juice. The person wanted to charge me extra for it (though it was included in the price). Then he sent his poor delivery guy with a small orange juice and still tried to extract a lower cash amount from me. The place should be banned from Seamless and from doing business in NY altogether.

I've been ordering from here for several months and had many good experiences initially (although consistency varied to a degree), however, quality has decreased substantially over the past month to two. Given that I have ordered the same buffalo chicken wrap each time, comparisons are easy. Each of the last few times, it seemed like the restaurant was trying to cut costs with less chicken, less buffalo sauce and often ignoring anything left in the comment box (i.e. ranch instead of bleu cheese = no ranch or bleu cheese; please provide extra ketchup = four ketchup packets for a large order of fries). Immensely frustrating as it has been very good in the past, but after three or four consecutive bad experiences, enough is enough.

If you want good diner food with great service, Gracie Cafe is the place to go. The guys that run this place are incredibly friendly and efficient. They always make me feel welcome when I come by. Their place is filled with regulars and there is a reason for that. They make a point to get to know their customers and are always super nice. I have never written a review for a restaurant before but I feel like really good customer service is hard to come by in NYC. They deserve the credit.

Gracies has the best smoothies on the Upper East Side. My roommate and I order their smoothies at least three times a week, and they care consistently fresh and delicious.

I think their food is pretty great for a diner. I order the Athenian chicken or grilled chicken caesar salad and think their quality is very good (and I'm picky). Delivery is always very fast (although when getting things like the Athenian chicken, it takes longer than they estimate. That's just because it takes longer to make).

Some of the best chicken fingers (get buffalo sauce on the side to make amazing buffalo chicken fingers) and a super solid bacon cheese burger. Also, the fries are really great. Great delivery time. Well played.

There should be a no star option. Coffee was all over our egg sandwiches and we ordered ham and cheese on eggs and just got egg whites and a soggy roll. Don't order from here

my breakfast sandwich was so terrible-- just a bunch of bread and cheese. Don't order it.

I ordered from here because the delivery time said 15-30 minutes. Over an hour and several calls later, I still hadn't received my food so I called the restaurant and cancelled the order. They assured me that I would receive a refund. Still waiting on that... what a scam!!!

My all time favorite place on the UES. EVERYONE I bring here loves it and tells me it's the best diner in the city. The service is ridiculously awesome and they try to remember your name. Astonished how far people come just to come to this diner. I'm so glad they're right down the street!

Zero stars. Almost 2 hours to receive food and of course when it arrived it was ice cold. Order at your own risk.

I used the 15% off coupon but I didn't realize that it meant you also get 15% off the actual food. I ordered BLT and chicken sandwich both with mayo and not a drop of mayo was to be found. Also the BLT had two shrunken old pieces of bacon. This was the first time I'd ordered from here and also the last. One of those places that sends out sub-par food for delivery. Yuk

Good food, but always LATE with their deliveries. 2 hours for 2 burgers and they Never offer compensation or anything. Just meaningless apologies.

ordered french toast, the pay extra for "pure maple syrup" is actually kraft pancake syrup. first ingredient corn syrup. something about the batter of the french toast also tasted very strange.

Chicken fingers & Mozzarella sticks were great... quick fast delivery.. the burger wasn't anything to rate, there are better in the neighborhood and the waffle fries were chewy.. I threw them in the trash, along witht he burger.
